Out-of-Network Reimbursement: Getting Your Money Back

Did you know your insurance might help cover the cost of therapy, even if I’m not in-network? Many specialized plans offer out-of-network benefits, which means you could get reimbursed for a portion of each session.

And you don’t have to figure this out on your own. I can check your benefits for you during our consultation call and let you know exactly what your potential out-of-pocket cost would be per session before we even get started.

If you have OON benefits, you may only owe a copay at each session instead of the full fee. Want to see what that looks like for you? Contact me and let’s see.

Intensive Therapy

Intensive therapy packages start at $1,550.

Intensives can be scheduled as one-time or recurring, depending on your needs and goals. Costs are dependent on your specific program (e.g., 3 hours in 1 day, three (3) 90-minute sessions across the week) as well as when/where the intensive is scheduled (weekdays vs weekends, virtual vs in-person). I will give you a specific estimate during a consultation call once I understand what type of program may be most supportive for you.

Our Shared Commitment

Cancellation Policy

You will be charged the full fee for cancelled or rescheduled sessions with less than 48 hours’ notice, as well as in the event of a no-show. Exceptions for unavoidable conflict or emergencies, under which we can make other arrangements to avoid the cancellation fee.

When you enter into therapy with me, I commit to you, and I ask you to be equally invested. I reserve an appointment time just for you. I carefully limit how many clients I choose to work with at any given time, which ultimately allows me to serve you best by not burning out and therefore being able to be present for you.

Why Out-of-Network?
I Choose You, Not Insurance Companies.

More and more, insurance companies are encouraging brief forms and courses of therapy, and disincentivizing longer sessions, which is often why I have clients come to me saying “I know why I’m broken, but I don’t know what to do differently or how to move forward.”

I believe in forms of therapy like IFS and IPF that are geared towards you as a unique individual, and help you to go deeper than some of the forms of therapy insurance companies are willing to pay for. Intensive therapy specifically is an amazing support for many high-achieving moms to feel better, faster, but is not covered by most insurance companies (they may reimburse portions of an Intensive, but not in full).

Payment & Reimbursement Support

I accept debit, credit, & HSA/FSA cards for payment. Please check with your individual HSA/FSA plan around coverage for services and any potential gaps for eligibility.

As an out-of-network provider, I have partnered with Thrizer to help clients save money on therapy (benefits checker tool click here). Thrizer will file the claims and handle the insurance paperwork to make sure you get reimbursed. During our consultation, we can explore your specific plan; many clients see a reimbursement of 50-80%.

Note: Thrizer's goal is to save you time and money. It's completely optional, and as a therapist, I receive no financial incentive for your participation.
